STAFFORD SOIMA CRANES

New brand associated with EURO GRUES, created in Viseu (Portugal) in 1977. initially to manufacture a variety of construction equipment, including plate rolling machines, presses, overhead cranes, masons and concrete mixers.

But in 1980, Soima began exclusively manufacturing tower cranes, including hammer, flat top and self-erecting cranes. It soon established itself as a leader in the South West European tower crane market with sales in Portugal, Spain and France.

Over the past two decades, Stafford Soima Cranes has gone global. It has produced over 6,600 tower cranes that are represented on every inhabited continent, with dealers now offering 24/7 service around the world. Soima’s work has resulted in numerous industry awards in Portugal and around the world.

In 2021, Stafford Soima became part of the US-based Stafford Crane Group (SCG). Several new models of Stafford Soima tower cranes are under development based on SCG’s decades of experience in the rental industry. , including the new luffer and flat top cranes. Today, from its modern factory in Canas de Senhorim, Portugal, Soima has an annual production capacity of 400 tower cranes.
